Description

Drumagick  are Brazilian brothers Jr Deep and Guilherme Lopes. Well known for releasing big drum and bass tunes, they now join Tru Thoughts to deliver a killer four track EP fusing UK bass music with that authentic Brazilian touch. Music for the ears as well as the dancefloor.

Swing Samba:
Shuffling drums with a twisted bassline. The track builds up before the piano and the subtle vocal hook kicks in.

Carreira (Drumagick Extended Running Mix):
A Drumagick rework of two Capoeira masters and musicians from Bahia/Brazil. Carreira was recorded on the roots Capoeira terrains in Brazil, where the dance, martial arts and African/Brazilian rhythms are fused up in one of the richest parts of Brazilian culture. Call and response male and female vocals with a Gospel feel rub up against seriously heavy bass. This remix was made to bring the terrain vibes to dancefloors across the world and blow it up.

Brazilian Parade & Doida:
Drumagick bring the roots samba vibe to the bass explosion. A fun and frenetic vibe on both tracks with great percussion: the future sound of Brazil.
