Following their triumphant Diggers Dont Get Days Off EP, Dirty Diggers are back with a bang and their full length Freakishly Strong album in tow.

The feedback for their last EP was astounding, receiving praise across the board from the music press quotes below and garnering some great radio support too Steve Lamacq, Annie Mac on Radio 1 alongside the more specialist 1xtra support – Rodney P, Skitz & DJ Excalibah). The Freakishly Strong EP also received Single of the Month in December 2005s Hip Hop Connection magazine.

For Zebra Traffic The Dirty Diggers represent a new lease of life in a scene that many say has had its day. The duo seem to bring a fresh approach to the dusty traditions of hip hop, unashamedly displaying their enjoyment for their art and spreading love along the way.

The album is produced by both parts of the Digger equation, Young Max (based in Yorkshire) & Pat Stash (based in East London), each taking turns to produce the music and to rhyme, providing a competitive edge, that ensures only the best material makes the cut.

The result is Freakishly Strong. 13 tracks of quality unabashed honest hip hop music, demonstrating the Diggers well rounded love for hip hop,  whether it be rocking a rowdy crowd at the Jazz Café or at the Hebden Bridge Working Mans Club or offering a insight into a more reflective facet of their music.
